Monica M. Majewski, 89, wife of the late Amiel Majewski, died Sunday, February 19, 2005 at a local nursing home. She was baorn in Scranton PA and lived in Suffield for the last 75 years. Monica was employed by the US Postal Service for 20 years, retiring in 1984. Monica was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Suffield. She was a member of the choir and the Rosary Guild. She is survived by a brother Anthony Minich of Suffield, a sister Gertrude Sikorski of Swoyersville PA, a step-sister Helen Drenzek of Suffield and many nieces and nephews. The family of Monica Majewski wish to thank Dr. Sherrilynn Lee and the staff of the Suffield House for the loving care they gave to Monica.
The funeral services will be Wednesday, February 22 at 9:00 am from the Heritage Funeral Home, 1240 Mountain Road, West Suffield, with a Mass of the Christian Burial at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Church, Suffield. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Poquonock.
