Linda first came to Vinfen to fill in for me when I was out for an extended time. Since that time, I had become close with her, as we shared a lot of responsibilities. She was a great friend, co-worker and "second mom" to me. I will forever miss her infectious laugh, and her tell it like it is personality. My condolences to her family at this very hard time. I will miss you Linda.

Dear Family - Below is the announcement I sent to the Vinfen CT Community. I thought I would share with her family....

I sadly write our Vinfen community of the passing of our co-worker and friend Linda Wood. Linda came to Vinfen March 2014 and quickly became the first person you greeted in the morning at the front desk. Linda had an infectious laugh and was always ready to jump in to help or volunteer time when she saw folks needed a hand. Almost every morning I spent at least 5 minutes chatting with Linda just so I could get a morning laugh in before starting the day. That morning laugh will always be remembered. Every morning Linda would deliver the mail and stop by offices to say hello or share a story. I know many folks here came to see these visits as a wonderful way to start their day.

May you rest in peace, Mrs. Linda... You will forever be missed here at Vinfen, you were the first face we saw when we entered every morning. Although you are in a better place, I will miss hearing your many hellos... God bless you and your family!!!

God Bless Linda and prayers for her family.
I have fond memories of Linda, though haven't been in touch for so long.
At a young age we were always looking for adventures and sometimes we'd get in trouble for them.
Still a smile comes to my memories of our early school days in Beautiful Suffield.
Oh how I miss my Happy Days in Suffield.
So sorry I couldn't have connected sooner.

Love to the Family
