Daniel W. Dougherty, a two-year resident of Suffield CT went home to be with the Lord on Monday evening, June 6, 2005
Dan, formerly of Mineola, Long Island, New York was actively involved in his church as choir director for forty years, sang with the Downtown Glee Club in Manhattan, and was formerly employed by Wausau Insurance.
Dan is survived by his beloved wife, Ruth, to whom he was married for sixty years, and his two adult children, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 10th at 10:30 AM at the Heritage Funeral Home, 1240 Mountain Road, West Suffield.
