My Father the Pilot
When I was 8 years old, my father was so excited to get his license and be cleared to take up a passenger. He came home and I must have been the only one available, but I was happy to go along to be his first passenger because as always, he swept me up in his enthusiasm and turned it into a grand adventure.
And it was a wonderful adventure--one of many--that I remember and cherish fondly to this day, many, many years later.
Miss you and love you, Father!!
