Barbara (Griffin) Dorman, 92 of West Suffield, wife of the late Carl E. Dorman, died Thursday, April 25, 2013 at a local nursing home. Barbara was born in Springfield, MA; the daughter of the late William W. and Marion (Sheridan) Griffin, and lived in West Suffield most of her life. She was employed at CIGNA for many years, retiring in 1983. Barbara was a long time member of the West Suffield Congregational Church. She is survived by four sons and their wives, Thomas E. and Melissa Dorman of Suffield, Gary R. and Pam Dorman of West Suffield, Carl E. and Faith Dorman of Hebron, and Bernard C. Dorman of Hartford; and six grandchildren Whitney, Griffin, Emily, Laura, Ben, and Katie. Barbara was predeceased by four brothers Howard, Gilbert, William, and Kenneth. The funeral services will be private.
