Jeffrey "J.P." Daley passed away peacefully on December 22, 2012 at the age of 19 after a sudden illness.
Born July 8, 1993 in Springfield, MA, J.P. was a 2011 graduate of Suffield High School where he was a member of the boys' tennis team. He attended Xavier University and most recently was employed at Armata's Supermarket in Longmeadow, MA.
J.P.'s true passions were his guitars, skiing, UConn football and basketball and the Boston professional sports teams.
J.P. leaves behind his loving mother and father, Barbara (Kelly) and Timothy Daley; as well as his three siblings, Gregory, Dean and Caitlin Daley, all of Suffield. Additionally he leaves his grandmothers Maria Daley of Suffield and Margaret Kelly of Schenectady, NY; his aunts and uncles Deana Daley and Susan Daley of Suffield Diane and Peter Donah of Agawam, MA, Tricia and Andrew Kowalczyk of Atlanta, GA, and Linda and William Bohne of Wallingford, CT; and his cousins Neil and Steven Donah, Michael and Ryan Bohne, and Paul Kowalczyk. J.P. was predeceased by his grandfathers Dean M. Daley and John E. Kelly.
Family and friends are invited to the Heritage Funeral Home, 1240 Mountain Road, West Suffield for calling hours on Thursday, December 27 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. The funeral service will begin at 10:00 am on Friday, December 28 at the funeral home and proceed to Sacred Heart Church, 446 Mountain Road, Suffield for an 11:00 am Mass of Christian Burial.
