Obituary for Shirley Elizabeth Harrison (Barnett)
Shirley Elizabeth (Barnett) Harrison, 93, of Suffield, passed on January 10, 2023 at The Suffield House surrounded by her family. Born on July 2, 1929 in West Suffield, daughter of the late William and Verna (Anderson) Barnett and lived in Suffield most all her life.
Shirley was the bookkeeper at H.P. Hood Company for 18 years. She was a Communicant of Sacred Heart Church, Suffield. She delivered Meals on Wheels, and volunteered with Suffield Community Aid for many years.
Shirley is survived by her six children, Kathleen (Paul) Fasoli of Mansfield, MA, Nancy Harrison of VA, Gary (Diane) Harrison of Suffield, Wendy (Sebastian) Mazzarella of RI, Deborah Dion of Enfield, Steven Harrison of AZ; a brother Richard (Bernadette) Barnett of Manchester; 14 Grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Lawrence Barnett.
The Funeral Services at Heritage Funeral Home 1240 Mountain Road, West Suffield on Saturday, January 21, 2023 with a Funeral Home Service at 1:00pm. Calling hours will be from 12:00 to 1:00pm prior to the service. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Windsor Locks.
