Obituary for Ronald Anthony Najaka

Ronald Anthony Najaka, 78, lifelong resident of Suffield, passed away on April 22, 2024.

Born on February 4, 1946 son of the late Edward and Tillie (Zenczak) Najaka. Ronny graduated from Suffield Academy in 1964 and earned his Bachelor of Business from the University of Miami in 1968. He was drafted into the United States Army following graduation where he served proudly as an Air Defense Specialist in a unit operating Redeye surface to air, man portable weapons. Ron had many stories about his camping and fishing trips in the frigid arctic environment.

Ron worked in the banking industry following is separation from the Army and eventually ended up in the family business National Gage and Die, as a machinist and tool maker. From there he entered the field of merchandising of machine tool which he continued for many years.

Ron can best be remembered by his friends for his passion for golf and will be missed by his friends at Oakridge Country Club which was like his second home



He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law Robert Najaka and Caryl Marks of Kingman AZ; nephew, Justin Najaka and wife Maria of Santa Fe, NM and their children Teresa, Adelina, and Robert.



Visitation Services will be on Tuesday, April 30 commencing at the Heritage Funeral Home, 1240 Mountain Road 9:30am - 10:30am with a Celebration of Life Mass at 11:00am in Sacred Heart Church, Suffield.
