Robert J. Bartnik passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 after a struggle with Alzheimer’s Disease. Born on August 5, 1939 to Joseph and Jane (Borowski) Bartnik, Bob grew up in Holyoke. The family moved to Feeding Hills in the late sixties.

Bob graduated from American International College and got his MBA from Western New England College. Bob spent his professional life in sales, mostly in the paper industry. He loved cooking, music, golf, football, racquetball, skiing, and gardening.

Bob leaves behind many friends and his cherished family, his son, Dr. Jeffrey Bartnik and his wife Cheryl of Loveland, OH and his daughter, Dr. Lori Boivin and her husband Joseph of Tiverton, RI, six grandchildren, Lukas Boivin, Elizabeth Bartnik, Amelia Boivin, Joanna Bartnik, Natalie Boivin, and Steve Bartnik, his sister, Constance Gura and her husband Edward of Chicopee, and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation on Bob’s behalf to your favorite charity or Baystate Hospice. A private memorial service is scheduled for Fall 2021. Heritage Funeral Home in Suffield, CT is assisting the family.
