Obituary for Richard James "Dick" Gonyea
Richard (Dick) James Gonyea, 82, of East Windsor, beloved husband of Cecilia Gonyea passed away suddenly on April 5, 2021. Born on April 20, 1938, in Springfield, MA. son of the late James and Yvonne (Gagne) Gonyea.
Richard was a supervisor with John R. Lyman Company for over 30 years. He also was an avid gardener and an active member of the Coleman Farms Community.
He is survived by his wife Cecilia Gonyea; daughter Shari Wood and her husband Richard of Suffield; and two granddaughters Katelyn and Sadie. Dick adored his family and was so proud of his girls.
The funeral services are private. Memorial donations can be made to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, 282 Washington St, Hartford, CT 06106. Heritage Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
