Kazimierz "Charlie" Kryszpin, 80, of Windsor Locks, beloved husband of Bogumila "Millie" Kryszpin, passed away on May 4, 2017 surrounded by his family. Born in Bagatele, Poland on July 8, 1936, he was son of the late Walter and Stella (Adamczyk) Kryszpin.

He is survived by his beloved wife for over 57 years, Bogumila Kryszpin; three daughters Mary Zimnoch and her husband Vincent of Windsor Locks, Elizabeth Johnson and her husband of James of North Branford, and Joanne Kryszpin of Enfield; four grandchildren Jonathan and Amanda Zimnoch, Meredith and Charlie Johnson; sister-in-law Jane Kryszpin of Simsbury; dear cousin and coffee buddy Eddie Groszyk of Suffield; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother John Kryszpin, a sister Irene and her husband Andrew Michalski, and niece Donna Kryszpin Auclair.

Charlie was a Polish Army Veteran, before immigrating to this country in 1960. Charlie worked at Cushman Industries Inc., for over 33 years, retiring as a Foreman in 1992. He was a self-taught craftsman and builder, building his own home in 1987 and assisting in countless other construction projects over the years. He always willing to lend a helping hand and share his infectious smile. He was a loving husband, a proud father, and a doting Dziadzi, the biggest fan of his grandchildren.

His family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at St. Francis Smilow Cancer Center for their kind and loving care, especially to Dr. Sporn and Nella, and to Kathy of the Johnson Memorial Cancer Center in Enfield.
Funeral Services will be on Monday, May 8 at 9:00AM from the Heritage Funeral Home 1240 Mountain Road, West Suffield, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at St. Joseph Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Suffield. Calling hours will be on Sunday, May 7 from 3:00-6:00 PM.
