Obituary for James Edward "Jimmy" Liss

James E. Liss, 69, of Windsor Locks passed peacefully on February 18, 2024. He was born in Hartford on May 9, 1954 to the late Edward and Stephanie (Kaschuluk) Liss.

Jimmy retired as Maintenance Supervisor employed with the State of CT, primarily located at Camp Hartell. He was a longtime member of the Broad Brook Angling Club, and Suffield Sportsman Association.

James is survived by his daughters Michelle-Ann Carlson, Laurie Jean Carlson; son Kenneth Carlson, five grandchildren Holley-Ann Daigle, Kaylee-Ann Ayala, Sarah-Ann Ayala, Caleb Carlson, and Camden Carlson. Sister Constance (Liss) Yoczik and her husband David; brother Steven Liss and his wife Mary; two nephews and four nieces. An Aunt Hermena Kaschluk, former wife Lysbeth-Ann Carlson, many beloved cousins, friends and his adored extended family Christina, Oscar and Jayden. Goodbye our dear friend, we will miss you, happy hunting and fishing.

The Graveside Service will be held in St. Edwards Cemetery, 22 West Stafford Rd (Route 190), Stafford Springs, CT. On Friday, April 26, at 1:00PM Please meet right in the cemetery.
