Arlyne Gonczewski Alexander passed away on Monday, December 5. Arlyne was 73 and the daughter of the late Alex and Jean Gonczewski of West Suffield, CT. She received her bachelor's and master's degrees in mathematics from Skidmore College and University of Michigan. Her 44-year career was at IBM, Phoenix Insurance Company, Connecticut Business and Industry Association (CBIA), and the Hartford Art School – University of Hartford. She exemplified beauty, elegance and was talented in music, calligraphy, and many artistic ventures. Arlyne is survived by her sister, Gayl Czaplicki, her niece and nephews, and many cousins. The burial and services will be private.
