Barbara (Berube) Leone, 82, of West Suffield, beloved wife of over 60 years of Paul A. Leone, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Pittsfield, MA on January 3, 1936 daughter of the late Joseph and Geneva (Norman) Berube, she attended East Hartford High School, some college, raised her family in East Hartford, and lived in West Suffield.

Barbara was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church, Suffield. She enjoyed reading, quilting and painting but most of all making a happy home surrounded by her family.

She is survived by her loving husband Paul Anthony Leone of West Suffield; a son Paul S. Leone of West Suffield; two daughters Suzette Flynn and her husband Paul of West Suffield and Claudette Omiecinski and her husband Robert of Las Vegas, NV; five grandchildren Rebecca Duran, Brianna Flynn, Shaughn Flynn, Kailey Alyssa Tucker, Ericka Barbara Tucker; and a great granddaughter Isabella Elyse. She was predeceased by a daughter Paulette Marie Leone; two brothers Emile and Earl Berube and two sisters Donna Kaponis and Janette Berube.

Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, April 18, at 10:00AM from Heritage Funeral Home 1240 Mountain Road, West Suffield, in procession to The Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church, Suffield at 11:00AM. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, East Hartford. Friends may call at the Heritage Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 17 from 4:00-6:00PM.
