Linda Jane (Lomax) Knoop, of West Suffield formerly of Kensington, and Evansville, IN beloved wife of Stephen John Knoop, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2017. Born on January 24, 1941 in Evansville, daughter of the late William Bruce and Dorothy (Daussman) Lomax. She attended Benjamin Bosse High School, and graduated with High Honors from University of Indiana Medical School, and was a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha (ZTA) Sorority. Linda was employed at St. Mary’s Hospital, as the Certified Medical Records Librarian. She found great joy taking care of her family and all animals.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, Stephen J. Knoop, a son John Knoop and his wife Jennifer Lyn of West Suffield; a daughter Stephanie Lynn Possum and her husband David of Vernon; two grandchildren Brandon and Natalie; a sister Janet Davies and her husband Hadyn of Evansville, IN; a sister-in-law Susan O’Keefe and her husband Michael of Baldwin, MO; and nephews Michael O’Keefe and his wife Jen, and Bradley Mayhew. She was predeceased by a nephew Bryan Mayhew.

Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, March 15, at 6PM at The Heritage Funeral Home 1240 Mountain Road, West Suffield. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-6PM prior to the funeral service. The Graveside Service will take place on Saturday, March 18 at 11AM at Alexander Memorial Park, 2200 Mesker Park Dr., Evansville, IN 47720; all friends and family are welcome to attend.
