Marie Evelyn (Gilbert) Bigos, 79, wife of the late Theodore J. Bigos, passed away on November 9, 2016. Born in South Windsor, on February 21, 1937, daughter of the late George and Evelyn (Boque) Gilbert, she lived in Suffield, Windsor Locks and retired to Lake Suzy, FL with her husband in 1991 before returning to CT after her husband passed in 2008. She was employed at Hamilton Standard, as an Administrative Assistant. Marie enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.

Marie is survived by five children Kenneth Bigos and his wife Barbara of Suffield, David Bigos and his wife Diane, of Manassas, VA, Deborah Bradley Sekula of Southwick, MA, Lynn Bigos-Slater of Orlando, FL, Kathleen Perez of Arlington, TX; twelve grandchildren Kathryn, Laura, David Jr., Daniel, Mary, Thomas, James, Brian, Allyson, Denise, Kenneth Jr., Brandon; and fifteen great grandchildren. Marie was predeceased by her husband Theodore, a grandson David Perez.


Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, November 15, at 11:00AM at The Heritage Funeral Home, 1240 Mountain Road, West Suffield. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:00-11:00AM prior to the funeral service.
