Anthony ‘Tony’ M. Putkowski, 63, of Suffield passed away on May 29, 2015. Born in Springfield, MA, on July 5, 1951; son of the late Anthony and Odonia (Olko) Putkowski and lived in Suffield all his life.

Tony was employed at and retired from Bakers Nursery, and was on the Executive Board at The Suffield Sportsmen’s Association. Tony enjoyed the great outdoors spending his free time hunting and fishing. Tony also was a member of the Lions Club.

Tony is survived by his son Anthony M. Putkowski Jr.; two brothers Eugene Putkowski of VA, and Steven Putkowski; two sisters Mary Ann Conaghan of IL, and Cathy LaTaille of MA. He was predeceased by two sisters Theresa Peterson, and Antoinette Zelinski. His family would like to thank the wonderful staff at St. Frances Hospital for their compassion and care.

A Celebration of Tony’s Life will be held at The Suffield Sportsmen’s Club, 2900 Phelps Rd., West Suffield; on Saturday, June 27, at 1pm.
