Obituary for Leonard Radziewski

Leonard  Radziewski
Leonard Radziewski Sr., 81, of Cromwell, formally of West Suffield, husband of the late Jo-Anne (Wojtkiewicz) Radziewski died Saturday, May 2, 2015. Born in West Suffield, son of the late Alexander and Clara (Zukowski) Radziewski and lived in West Suffield most all his life.

Leonard started his career on his family’s dairy farm ‘Radziewski Dairy Farm’ and continued to work in the great outdoors at Baker’s Nurseries, and eventually retired from Millane Nursery in Cromwell. Leonard had a love of flying small airplanes, sports, fishing and collecting arrowheads.

He is survived by his two daughters Marcia Hobbs of Wilbraham, MA, and Stacey Lee Rivest of West Springfield, MA; one son Leonard Radziewski Jr. of Norwich; one sister Margaret Rybeck of Enfield; three grandchildren Keith Hobbs III, Dylan Rivest, Isabella Rivest; many nieces and nephews including his very loving niece Rita and her husband Joe Bates. Besides his wife Jo-Anne, Leonard was predeceased by one son John Radziewski and three sisters Eleanor Muziowski, Regina Jurglas and Theresa Rush.

The Funeral Service will be Wednesday, May 6 at 10:30AM at The Heritage Funeral Home, 1240 Mountain Road, West Suffield. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 8:30-10:30AM prior to the funeral service. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery – Poquonock. For on-line condolences please visit: www.SuffieldFuneralHome.com
