Edwin Raymond Sheldon Jr.
Edwin Raymond Sheldon Jr. ‘Buddy’, 88, of East Windsor formerly of West Suffield, died Thursday December 11, 2014 at a local nursing home. Born in West Suffield, son of the late Edwin R. and Bessie E. (Griffin) Sheldon Sr., and lived in West Suffield most all his life.
Buddy was a Retired Lt. Detective of The Suffield Police Department. He was a member of the West Suffield Congregational Church, The Suffield Masonic Lodge, Connecticut Valley Detective Asso., and was a U.S. Marine Core WWII Veteran.
He is survived by several children; Andrea, Brenda, and Jonathan. He was predeceased by his son Mark.
The Funeral Service will be on Thursday, December 18, at 10AM at The Heritage Funeral Home, 1240 Mountain Road. Burial will follow with Military Honors in West Suffield Cemetery. For on-line condolences please visit: www.SuffieldFuneralHome.com
