Obituary for Remy C. DiLorenzo

Remy C. DiLorenzo, of Suffield, beloved daughter of John and Ann DiLorenzo passed away on October 31, 2014. She was born in Hartford on August 12, 1982, and resided in Suffield all her life. She is survived by her parents John and Ann DiLorenzo, of Suffield; her brothers Michael and his wife Cassandra DiLorenzo of Suffield, their children, Amelia and Vincent; and Thomas Wosko of Somers; a sister Alison and her husband Kevin Dowe of Suffield, and their children, McKayla and Ava; her Aunt Annette and Uncle Mark DiLorenzo of Suffield, her Uncle Anthony DiLorenzo, Jr. of Somers; her Aunt Sharon DiLorenzo of Springfield, Ma; and several cousins.
Remy was a graduate of Asnuntuck Community College with an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development. She then decided to further her education in healthcare with her Certificate of Nurses Aide. She was then employed as a hardworking and compassionate CNA at both Wingate Nursing Home and The Ruth House. In her free time Remy enjoyed family ski trips and water skiing in Vermont. She was an avid reader and also loved music. Remy's true passion in life was spending time with her neices' and nephew and spoiling them with gifts and lots of love.
Funeral Services will be on Friday, November 7, at 9AM from The Heritage Funeral Home, 1240 Mountain Road, West Suffield; with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, 64 Perl Street, Enfield CT. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Enfield. Friends may call at The Heritage Funeral Home on Thursday, November 6, from 4-7PM. Memorial Donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), Greater Hartford Chapter, 20 Batterson Park Rd., Farmington, CT 06032.
